Age isn't a barrier when one has the mindset to fight against the odds and prove their mettle. In the rural pockets of western Maharashtra and across India, females are still subjected to discrimination. Educating a Girl is never a priority, especially in the rural belts and they are prone to violence, abuse, and exploitation.
Even though in Tier I & II cities, women are surpassing their male counterparts and are creatingnew milestones, the scenario is much different when it comes to the interiors of Maharashtra. VHASPETH SOCIAL FOUNDATION is determined to outcast this age-old culture of male dominance and is committed to create equal opportunities for all genders. The World Health Organization alongside the Government of India has already launched several schemes but we have to be a part of this initiative.
Our approach is to empower every Girl child with the right to education and equality. That's when our children fromremote villages will get a chance to step into places like NASA, ISRO, and other prestigious organisations. Working at the ground level, we act as a bridge between the various NGO's, Government schemes and ensure that we achieve our vision.
